The Boghall Community Wing acts as a base for community groups and our partner organisations to run activities in the Boghall Community. However funding has been a constant concern for the Drop in Centre. We have been extremely fortunate to secure funding from the Big Lottery Fundto continue to operate and work in partnership with the community and the organisations who provide services here.
Big Lottery Fund Scotland Chair, Maureen McGinn, said: “I am delighted that The Boghall Drop in Centre has been successful in securing a Big Lottery Fund grant. The funding will make a big difference where it is needed most and I wish the Boghall Drop in Centre every success as it goes on to develop and expand its project for the benefit of their local community.”
Centre Manager, Agnes Osborne, said: "This funding will allow the Community Wing to expand its services and introduce new activities for everyone in the Boghall community."
The funding will enable the Boghall Drop in Centre to focus on the services it delivers and allow us to strengthen the partnerships we have which will see an increase in the activities provided in the Community Wing.
